yamaha DTX-MULTI 12 with SD 2 or?

Hi

I have a very small room so a traditional E-drum set will not fit. that being said, as an ex drummer, i am looking to get off my triton keyboard and fingers, back to some sticks and maybe a pad type setup?

i run cubase and have a yamaha n12 so this new pad controller from yamaha caught my eye

just wondering if it will work well with SD2? how easy is it to map sounds? ( have never done this) , and how is the Yamaha quality usually with these things?
