    Hi Stan,

I have the DTX 542K with 4 extra pads on it. Using the 502 Drum Module. It works perfectly. However you will need to change the MIDI notes for each Pad to the MIDI notes that EZDrummer 2 needs. Other than that no probs. You just connect the USB from the 502 to computer. Start EzDrummer and goto MIDI setting and make sure the DTX tick box is enabled. Then jump on the kit and play with the EzDrummer sounds.

    I use this with DFH.

    Hope that helps.

Yep, I took the plunge, I found a DTX502 brain for 179 on eBay. Quite a steal price wise if you ask me considering I sold my DTXPlorer brain for 85 the next week so that got me a 502 for under a 100 bucks. I noticed the stock sounds are WAAAY better then the DTXP, now I just need to expand my rack so I can split some of the inputs.
