I was just toying around a song with my SD2 and was thinking, “I wonder if that would better with rods. As I popped over to the construct, I realized I was using the pop/rock kit. I know the avatar kits has that stuff, but it would be cool if you could x-stick the rods and mallets and brushes similar to that of an x-drum. Maybe you can and i just don’t know how. If not, there is a suggestion:-)
The X-drums section has a Tools menu, so you can create X-drums with other tools than sticks (when recorded of course).
If you are referring to creating an X-drum from any library with rods for example, that particular drum needs to be recorded with rods. There’s no magic going on behind the scenes, the drums with rods are actually recorded with rods.
