    Hi,

there’s ‘User Instruments’. It’s available in the right-click menu for each kit piece if you wish to save or replace; or in the ‘Add Instrument’ menu if you wish to add a saved User Instrument.

If you have saved several kit pieces in a User Preset, you can load parts of it.

    Hi John,

Thank you very much for the information.  This is a nice workaround to the X-Drum preset option in S2 but not nearly as “elegant”.   Loading 6+ instruments simultaneously would be much more helpful but thanks to this info, I’m no longer setting up multiple instruments, MIDI Note Numbers, routing, etc. for each external drum.

    Thanks again!

    OK,

and creating a User Drums and Mixer Preset with your added User Instruments and then loading selected parts (Added Instruments) from it doesn’t solve this for you?

The problem I have is that mixer presets are not available across libraries. ie. I cannot load any part of a preset i created in the core SD library into a project I create in the Darkness library.
