Worth buying EZDrummer for cheap if I own Superior Drummer 2?

I already own Superior Drummer 2. Soon Guitar Center is selling EZDrummer for really cheap ($30). Are the drum patterns on EZDrummer different than what comes with Superior Drummer 2? Any good reasons to buy EZDrummer if I already own Superior Drummer 2?

I’d say no because there isn’t anything ezdrummer can do that superior can’t already do for you.

If midi grooves are what you are after, the midi packs TT offers more than cover ezdrummer imo and there are several 3rd party midi grooves available. I know it’s a great price, but you kinda already have the “Cadillac”

In my opinion (let’s pretend I don’t work for Toontrack now)…for the 8000 something MIDI grooves in EZdrummer, $30 is a no brainer. But hey, that’s me.

Yes, they are unique to EZdrummer.

Guitar Center did not want to ship to me because they said this was an in store sale only – that really blows.  Because I got the email from them.  How do they assume I am near a Guitar Center?  And I do not know why they would have sent an in-store sale email to people worldwide.

Can Toontrack please offer EZ drummer for the $30 for a limited time like that Guitar Center email since the email for the $30 price was 100% invalid for many of us?

we always sell at list prices and very rarely have any specials or sales. We never try to compete with our retailers by matching their prices, so I’m afraid EZdrummer is and will remain at $179 in our webshop.
