Workflow for tracker within Protools

Hello all. I’m wondering if you folks can help me out here.
I’m running SD3 within ProTools 12.8.1HD on a mac using Sierra.

I have a live drum track and I’m attempting to analyze it with tracker, generate midi and then augment my existing drums.
I’m a bit confused regarding workflow.
If I import one of my drum tracks (hi hats in this case) into tracker, SD3 analyzes the tempo. I understand that I can enable follow host tempo but SD3 won’t let me export the midi without adding some kind of tempo map which means that the midi that I drag back into Protools is no longer phase aligned.

Is there a way to export the MIDI with EXACTLY the same timing as the original import? Untouched tempo?
Am I doing this wrong?
