Will EZD3 work with Simmons SD1200 out of the box?

I currently have EZD2 and it sounds good but since there is no built in mapping for the Simmons SD1200 kit I’m not actually able to use it. The Simmons head doesn’t support custom MIDI mapping and each strike of a drum triggers multiple sounds in EZD2. None of the built in mappings seem to work and there’s not one specifically for this or any Simmons kit.

So I would like to know, will there be a built in mapping for the Simmons SD1200 kit in EZDrummer 3?

Hi,

there are Simmons MIDI Presets in EZdrummer 3, SD1200 is one of them. However, if you are getting multiple notes from your module, something else than mapping is the problem. Please check your cross-talk settings.
