Who’s using the Twisted Kit? Do you have any examples to share?

I like the clangy bits of metal and different sounding percussion, although I’d like more industrial noises.

Don’t forget you can pitch-shift these, and “twist” the dynamic envelopes of the sounds too, and layer them or morph them… (if you have SD, sorry)

I use LP, Pop, N1H and Electronic for the percusion and noises i can find. I’d like more ethnic percussion, Indian, African, I’d like orchestral percussion too. I’ll see if I can get a client’s permission to post an excerpt, or I’ll make some stuff up to post…

Cool. I’d like to hear some of your stuff.
With pitch shifting and envelope control, it seems the possibilities are pretty huge.

The downside is I’ve spent a lot of time exploring and tweaking with SD -there’s lots of clever capability with the plugin and I feel I’ve ony scratched the surface (and with recent offers here in the UK and Audiodeluxe in the US, I’ve bought a bunch of libraries that will take me all winter to explore).

Well, the good news is that I hear winters on Planet 9 can be long.

If you have Spotify, you can listen to these two tracks on the ‘Princess & Mr. Tom’ album ‘Lost’:

I used Twisted Kit on several songs but it’s not so easy to spot save but on these two songs.

Thanks for posting that up, John. Unfortunately, I don’t have Spotify, but this will be a good resource for those that do.

I dunno, you remind me the day before my birthday.

Sorry Dug, in all honesty I forgot, and I’ve not actually got near my workstation in two weeks (apart from a bit of creative editing of some Halloween tracks for a childrens’ disco That and the fact that we gained a new addition two months ago (Heidi Emma 7lb 15oz) means we look like Halloween zombies here, and we’re about as productive

Gimme a week or so and I’ll see if I can provided you with some examples…

No worries. There’s no pressure and you needn’t feel obligated.

Happy birthday and congratulations on the new addition to your planet.

    Try this for size, Dog.

It’s a bit of a free-for-all, Brazillian hybrid, but I think it’s all Twisted Kit.

Pretty cool stuff. Thanks for posting.

There are some good prices right now and I’m tempted but I keep getting the itch to buy more and more expansion packs when I have plenty already. However, this kit is pretty unique.

You have got the LP EZX haven’t you?

Depends on your musical tastes and styles I suppose, but for percussion it’s a no-brainer.

That was the first one I got. Electronic and No.1 Hits are also recommended if you use drum-machine/ electronic percussion sounds.

Yeah, I have LP. I agree that it’s pretty much a must have for any Superior or EZ Drum owner.

Do you have to download something to listen to these please John? The webpage was unresponsive.

One of the songs on this album uses a lot of Twisted Kit (this is song 2 of 5).
