I’ve been a long-time user of Toontracks – simply the best drum software out there. I received an e-mail this morning from Toontracks announcing a sale running through 8/31/11 on expansion packs, with some fine print that said the sale only applies to in-store purchases. I hustled over to Guitar Center, then Sam Ash, here in Columbus, Ohio, to purchase. Although both stores sell some Toontrack products, they were absolutely clueless about the sale and totally unhelpful (as usual) about making it possible to purchase any Toontrack products. I left both stores wondering how, in these tough economic times, can any business afford to turn away customers with cash in hand.
I looked on the Toontrack website for some indication of where else I might look in the Columbus, Ohio, area to purchase Toontrack products, but found zero info anywhere on the site about U.S. retail outlets. Is there any place you can direct me to in Columbus, Ohio (or even the central Ohio area) where I can find your products?
