Where are my 3rd party MIDI grooves!??!??

Hey guys!

I collected about 20.000 MIDI Grooves in my past and I can only find them in EZDrummer’s Browser but not in the search tab.
The main reason I bought EZ Drummer 2 was its search function in order to organize and find midi grooves very quick with the tab2find function.
Don’t tell me guys that the tab2find function “only” works for Toontrack MIDI-Packs….

Ok sorry, but that is true. Tap2Find only works with Toontrack MIDI.

I’ll let Toontrack know your feature request and it may be implemented in an update.

+1 in a HUGE WAY!
This system will BAR NONE be so far beyond the competition once you make this move. It’s actually now somewhat of a defect in my opinion. By embracing the tons of other stuff out there, it will put you in a category all by itself from a workflow/drum production system.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving it! But I have custom grooves done by myself, colleagues, etc… giving them charts of their own play style, using the Song Construct…its GENIUS! but you’ve handcuffed me into “playing your way”… its not a BAD thing, just not the BEST.

PLEASE let me teach the system my grooves!!!!

I hope Toontrack is changing that soon.. No one told me that I’m handcuffed to Toontracks MIDI-Grooves! You guys should MENTION that somewhere in your Advertisement. As I said, the only reason I bought this software was to use the search function. That makes me kinda sad, cause I invested into 3rd party midi grooves so much..

Another +1 for supporting third party midi grooves in the Search area, it was the main reason I purchased EZDrummer 2. The included grooves are cool, but I also have many more I would like to use via the Search function. How about a deal on MIDI groove packs for new EZDrummer 2 converts in the meantime until you hopefully include this functionality? It’s such an amazingly powerful feature, I love it and EZDrummer is now going to be my main songwriting tool for drum patterns. Great job on the new version!

EZD2 search features are the best there is …, but it could be another 50% better again …………….,
ie; 3rd party libraries and user libraries need to be searchable via – ” tap to find “
