I have been waiting for Superior Drummer to get updated with some of the new EZ Drummer 2 features (Easily swap kit pieces, which is a convoluted process in Superior Drummer 2). “Tap to find” MIDI grooves that are similar. Superior Drummer 2 doesn’t have this. As it is, Superior Drummer 2 is more expensive than EZ Drummer 2 yet feels like a lesser product in terms of workflow (regardless of the extra features that Superior Drummer 2 has over EZ drummer 2).
I use EZ Drummer 2 way more than Superior Drummer 2, even though SD2 has its own unique features as well. Will there be a new and improved Superior drummer 3 that inherits the new cool stuff that has been available for more than a year in EZ Drummer 2? Thanks for any info you may be able to provide.
I love your stuff 🙂
Hi,
you will not get answers to those kind of questions here since Toontrack never comments on future releases unless they have been publicly announced.
Toontrack does, however, listen to user input and requests and what you are asking has been requested by several users.
