    ORIGINAL: mrdrums
Yeah, but your buying the software to get the feel of the player.
If you play a keyboard to play the bass, it’s just not the same. It’s not every hard at all to use keys to program drums,
but you dont get the feel of a real drummer or the sound of the samples.

Right, that’s one point (not the only).
Anyway, it would be nice to hear from Toontrack if they have plans for EZbass…

    Hi,

Toontrack rarely comment Requests but more important; never comment on products that may or may not be up for development.
In other words, should a product like what you are asking for be in the works or on the planning table, you would not hear about it any other way than publicly announced through the Toontrack main site and/or via Toontrack news email.

    Best Regards,
    John

I personally don’t have any concern at all for the consolidation of the entire EZ library,as I just want to see something more than just drums and keys!
Let’s just worry about the addition of bass, guitar and orchestral stuff, shall we?

Gtr? again, by the nature of it and compared to a piano pluck.

Yeah…I can see your point,I mean…it’s not as though any other software developer out there has ever created a e.guitar VST…must have all been one elaborate hoax, because no one in the right mind, would ever want a guitar VST and therefore, there is absolutely no demand for it.

All sarcasm aside, not everyone has the same stringent requirements as you do,so despite how much you are opposed to such a request,I WILL HOLD MY BREATH for it,because Kontakt is s**t in terms of customer support & buggy software.

If anyone is going to do a reasonable emulation of an e.guitar and do it in a user-friendly manner,my money’s on Toontrack.

    Hi

I use Bass and Guitar VSTs by Ample Sound. This week, they introduced the “Ample Bass Riffer” as a free update for their Basses.
I tried it and it’s fantastic. Think that’s what an EZ Bass would do.
So, if you are desperately waiting for an EZ Bass release, check it out as we don’t know how long the waiting would still take (if not forever).
You will no more have Songs w/o great bass lines.

    Cheers

So just to be clear, with this riffer I don’t even need to use a keyboard? I can just layout the chords and the riffer will play accordingly?

    Thanks

Yes. Just drop the Notes with the mouse or load a preset and edit as wanted. No keyboard necessary.

I purchased it and so far I’m very happy with it. Been wanting something like this for years! Thanks again for the heads up.

Of course, if Toontrack decides to finally make something similar some day, I would buy it……Surprised

Great. I will also try to dive deeper into it tomorrow.
