What is EZmix?

That may seem like a stupid question but there is no concise description of what EZmix is exactly. In some of the blurbs it sounds like a DAW, but then in others it sounds like a bunch of FX plug-ins to use in Cubase or Protools or whatever. Is EZmix 2 a DAW with bundled plug-ins or is it just the plug-ins? I need to upgrade my DAW.

It is an effects plugin to be used in a daw. There is a standalone version to make use of the amp sims also.

It is made simple with only a couple of parameters to adjust, hence EZ.
