I write music in Logic Pro and then hire singers and then someone to do a final mix/master. I would like to be able to eliminate the extra costs and do the mixing and mastering myself. I am looking at the six packs and wondering what I need.
The music I write typically is country, chill or light rock/crossover.. Typically has drums, piano, bass, acoustic guitar strum and a pick, and then a lead instrumental electric guitar. Occasionally I will use a Mandolin and/or steel guitar. I have a vocal with maybe a harmony or adlib track or both.
I am using EZkey today and have a ton of the midi plugins so need everyone’s advice on what my six pack should contain for EZMIX. Example== do I need vocal 1 and 2 as well as master 1 and 2. Does the core extender or songwriter pack make sense?
Looking forward to your advice so I can spend more money with you guys
I’m wondering if you ever got anywhere with EZ Mix? I’m in the same boat, I’m hiring people to mix and master and I’d love to save the cost and do it myself. I would love to know if you tried EZ Mix and what kind of results you’re getting?
I bought a few different ones. I as I was playing with them I found logic has some presets too and have been using some of those on the individual intrument tracks and the EZM on the final mix/master
