What do I need?

Hi I have EZ Drummer. Just getting to grips with it. Do I buy Midi Packs to expand this or do I need the ones that say EZX So do I get Indie Folk ESX or Indie Folk Midi? I bought the Midi. Is that the wrong one? Is there more in the Indie Folk ESX I really am confused about this. Thanks

MIDI packs are just MIDI drum patterns that EZdrummer kits can play. EZXs are MIDI as well as drum sounds (kits).

Thanks. Sorry, I’m a novice and this means nothing to me. I bought the Midi pack for using with my EZ dummer. Does that mean I didn’t get the Gretch and other old kits with the Midi files?

Correct. No kits in the MIDI pack. EZX: http://www.toontrack.com/product/indie-folk-ezx/ MIDI pack: http://www.toontrack.com/product/indie-folk-midi/ But yes, you can use the MIDI pack with EZdrummer. The MIDI will appear in the MIDI browser in EZD. But no new sounds in the MIDI packs.

Ok. Thanks. If I’d known that I’d not have bought the Midi pack. I honestly don’t think this is very clear on the website. Especially for newbies. Its unfortunate I have a Midi Pack when the ESX was what I should have got. Is it possible to get a refund on the Midi pack, cancel the registration, and buy the ESX?
