Hi guys

I guess you have heard about the waves vocal rider plugin

It looks like a cool idea but I can’t help thinking it’s somewhat pricey considering what it is and I was thinking that the toons could produce something similar as part of their software tools brand.

There have been other similar products out before so I’m guessing that waves don’t have exclusive rights to the concept just their particular solution

Seriously guys I think this could be a great time saving tool to get some initial automation data in place which can be tweaked to suit later but waves have priced loads of us out of the market whereas with toon quality and expertise alongside your much more realistic and cost effective pricing I could see it as a great addition to the existing software tools.

I have Waves Vocal Rider and I think its a very useful tool – buit there’s the potential for enhancement features, such as de-esser, bass-mode and ducking side-chain setting.

There’s another plug called Wave Rider that is the same idea and if I’m not mistaken, was on the market first. I’m not sure if posting links is allowed or not here but a quick google search will get you there.

Yeah I have looked into the wave rider thing but I think it was mac only. I just thought this would be a great addition to the system tools side of toontrack products as they have a track record of producing tools which works really well whilst not requiring a mortgage to buy. The waves thing is just too expensive and like I said the other product is mac only.
