While using Superior 3 I’ve noticed occasionally the samples don’t respond to velocity. The note volume remains @ a maximum level regardless of where I set it to. If I set it to 64 instead of 127 the volume remains unchanged.
As an example, if I want a Tom roll to sound more natural I’ll decrease the velocity of 4 successive notes from 15 thru 127 I’ll do this in Sonar using a utility called “Velocity Scale” which provides a smooth velocity from start to finish of the selected area. Even though the velocity changes have been updated on each respective note the volume remains unchanged.
I hope I’ve described the issue correctly & someone can help me solve this. I must be re-setting something in Superior 3 that causes this problem to rear it’s head because it only happens occasionally & I don’t have a clue what I’m doing wrong. If anyone could shed some light on this problem I would appreciate it.
