Ive recently downloaded the demo for ezdrummer2 and figured out how to get it hooked up to my one year old pc running windows 10: 2 ghz, 8 GB ram, it an HP Envy i think. But Im having latency issues and i’m only using ezd2 as a stand alone app.
Anyways, I hooked it up using a short usb cable, but Im not sure how old the cable is. Could it be the cause to latency?
Or is it possible I need to change some settings with my audio in my laptop??
Hi,
please check the hardware buffer size in the Settings > Audio/MIDI setup. The bigger buffer, the higher latency. The lower buffer, the more risk of getting CPU glitches.
Ideally, you would want it set to 64-128.

Thank you. I tried this solution and while it seemed to have helped a little bit, I still have too much latency to play along with the click. Anything else?
What audio soundcard and ASIO driver are you using? Built in audio? Have you tried the ASIO4ALL driver?
