I’m trying to do the same thing with a DM5…not too much detailed info out there.

    Hi,

with EZdrummer you can not, unlike with Superior 2, re-assign or ‘Learn’ notes from your E-drums. In fact EZdrummer is only supported for E-drum use if you use it with Toontrack solo as host.
In Toontrack solo, you set the MIDI Controller type to ‘E-drums’, which will make some note and controller corrections ‘on-the-fly’ and you should be able to get a pretty good result if you are updated on all your Toontrack software.

    Good to know…thanks!

You can re-assign the midi send inside the brain on the DM10 and get it all working.

How come I’m getting a message that says no midi device found on toontrack solo? I have my drum kit plugged in with a USB cable? Do I need to use a midi cable or is a USB ok?

USB cable with DM10 into Superior Drummer (using Toontrack Solo) is what I use. I find sometimes that i have to switch on/off the DM10 sometimes and also toontrack – then when restarted and I select Midi Device, the DM10 is then listed. This happens occasionally with ASIO4ALL (the small program that helps fine-tune/almost eradicate latency issues.
