Guys, I got around to playing with Scripter this last weekend and holy cow is it awesome. I wrote a cool script to help me with Superior Drummer and made a video explaining how it works. I hope this is useful to someone else.

The video shows the v1 of the filter, I’ve now updated it to have Superior Drummer’s default drum mapping included and you can use it to layer or replace any drum or cymbal, by group

I’ve also added some logic for filtering hits below a certain velocity, and increasing or decreasing the global velocity of hits above or below a certain threshold. If you do hard rock or metal and you need big drums, this will help you create layers with other virtual instruments without having to create multiple midi regions.
