I just purchased my first Toontrack Products. EZdrummer 2 and a few EZX. Each of them showed up in my Toontrack product manager with updates that are older than the release date on the product itself. What should I do with them?
Example: The Classic EZX for Mac OS X Version 1.1.0 . Date 2015-04-23
The product manager is prompting me to download and install 2 updates:
1. Sound Library update for Mac OS X Version 1.5.1 . Date 2014-06-05
2. Midi Pack update for Mac OS X . Version 1.5.0 . Date 2014-05-05
Toontrack Product manager is telling me that the product is not up to date, and wants me to use these updates. Should I use them?
Hi,
in short: yes.
The full product installer package may have had a component update at a later date but the important thing is version number.
Since the updates have higher version numbers, you should install them.
