I run EZ Drummer on a Mac in Logic Pro and ran into an issue where EZDrummer indicated that an EZX needed to be reinstalled. After downloading the installer again through the Product Manager and trying to open the DMG, it became apparent that the installer can only be run within the Product Manager. However, once installed, there was no install or reinstall option.
Various threads in this forum pointed to manually uninstalling products if one needs to reinstall them. I followed the instructions of deleting the EZX folder from Library>Application Support>EZDrummer but now I am constantly getting errors of (for example):
The file “EZX2_DreamPop/Name” could not be copied. You don’t have permission to save the file “EZX2_DreamPop” in the folder “EZDrummer”.
I located a few of the files in question, deleted those, which seemed to solve this error for a few of the files indicated. But now I can’t figure out what files need to be removed for the installer to run.
Is there any actual uninstaller for Mac that can fully remove an EZX and its MIDI components so that a clean reinstall is possible?
Click Show Details, then you have Install and Uninstall in the menu to the right of the full installer.

I clicked Show Details, downloaded the installer, and under the Installation Info tab selected uninstall. After the EZX was uninstalled, I reinstalled it and the same error appeared.
I uninstalled it again, looked through the EZ Drummer file structure and verified that there was no trace of the Dream Pop EZX and didn’t see anything, and then reinstalled it again. Still getting the same error.
Try running the EZdrummer 3.0.6 installer again (from the menu next to it in Details). If that doesn’t fix the problem with Dream Pop, please contact support for further troubleshooting. (https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-contact-support/)
