Hi
I have successfully downloaded SD3 Upgrade and also downloaded SD 3 Library Part 1.
There was an issue with the SD 3 Library Part 1 download. When it finally completed the download – which took hours on a 100Mbit internet connection ( I am seeing slow download speed issues like other people are experiencing) it would not complete. It got stuck in a loop saying 40.5GB of 40.5GB. I paused the download and then quit Product Manager. After re-opening Product Manager I then un-paused the download and it quickly completed and then verified the download. I was then able to install it.
Now – I selected the remaining downloads SD 3 Library Part 2 and SD 3 Library Additional Bleeds. It has taken overnight to download 100GB of data on a 100Mbit internet connection. The download would not complete and got stuck in a loop of saying 46.0GB of 46.0GB. I tried the same trick as before and paused the download and then quit Product Manager. After re-opening Product Manager it still remains stuck in a loop.
I copied the (incomplete) downloaded image on one computer over to another Mac computer. Placed the downloaded files into it’s Toontrack download folder. Opened Product Manager on the other Mac computer. I then selected SD 3 Library Part 2 and it quickly completed the download and then verified the 46GB disk image.
After several minutes of verifying the disk image it then stopped verifying and then has gone back to looping – saying 46.0GB of 46.0GB.
So – now I’m stuck. Purchased a product that I can’t download. If anyone has any ideas – please let me know.
Thanks
Matt

Thanked by: Alan O'ConnellHi,
I’m also unable to download – SL-SuperiorDrummer3_SDX_Part4 – of the SD3 components.
I’ve tried just wired, just wireless, and both together.
I’ve tried saving to SSD, and saving to external HDD, each with 500GB+ free space. I’ve tried downloading at different times of day and night.
Initially I had issues downloading the main program installer, and found that downloading all files together helped. But using the same approach does not appear to work with this file.
I’ve tried renaming the last downloaded .obw file that has not completed, it still errors
I’m now trying again after renaming the ‘Downloads’ database file
(Maybe if this is happening to a lot of people, an SFTP download option could be made available to those having issues, or something similar).
Please would it be possible to help? (error log is attached)
Many Thanks,
Ross
