Hi
I have successfully downloaded SD3 Upgrade and also downloaded SD 3 Library Part 1.
There was an issue with the SD 3 Library Part 1 download. When it finally completed the download – which took hours on a 100Mbit internet connection ( I am seeing slow download speed issues like other people are experiencing) it would not complete. It got stuck in a loop saying 40.5GB of 40.5GB. I paused the download and then quit Product Manager. After re-opening Product Manager I then un-paused the download and it quickly completed and then verified the download. I was then able to install it.
Now – I selected the remaining downloads SD 3 Library Part 2 and SD 3 Library Additional Bleeds. It has taken overnight to download 100GB of data on a 100Mbit internet connection. The download would not complete and got stuck in a loop of saying 46.0GB of 46.0GB. I tried the same trick as before and paused the download and then quit Product Manager. After re-opening Product Manager it still remains stuck in a loop.
I copied the (incomplete) downloaded image on one computer over to another Mac computer. Placed the downloaded files into it’s Toontrack download folder. Opened Product Manager on the other Mac computer. I then selected SD 3 Library Part 2 and it quickly completed the download and then verified the 46GB disk image.
After several minutes of verifying the disk image it then stopped verifying and then has gone back to looping – saying 46.0GB of 46.0GB.
So – now I’m stuck. Purchased a product that I can’t download. If anyone has any ideas – please let me know.
Thanks
Matt

Details:
Toontrack Product Manager Version 1.0.5 (18185)
Mac OS 10.12.6 Sierra
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) – 1TB SSD with 300GB free
UPDATE
OK – well I just left it running and looping over and over and it seems to of sorted itself out finally. I don’t know how long exactly – hours. I just left it looping and came back and checked it after several hours and it was complete. The SD 3 Library Additional Bleeds was left overnight looping away. Checked in the morning and it was finally done.
Hope this might help someone else.

I’m having the exact same problem. Infuriating!
Every time I contact support it takes 24 hours to reply. You think they would have a fix for this by now.
Seriously considering giving up and buying a different product.
Same problem here. 100mbit unlimited data internet connection, unable to complete the download on “Superior Drummer 3 Library Part 2”. It just loops the last few megabytes for hours and hours. I’m at over 24hrs now. This shouldn’t be happening.
Something is wrong with their data server and they need to fix it.
Im having the same problem as well. I am stuck with Superior 3 and cannot use it. Please reply with a solution! Thanks!
Hi,
you’re not downloading from the server but one of many servers, depending on your location.
Usually, download problems seem to sort themselves out within a day or so but please contact Toontrack Support directly via one of the FAQ’s.
They will probably want you to perform some tests and provide some info, to see what can be done.

I managed to solve it by renaming download folder

restarting 4 times…….
I need to get back to mix
Its not a good working system……..
Now it says its missing soundb2.obw
Is it possible to download just that files with out the whole load?
Thank you
Issue not resloved. I cannot install and I cannot redownload ……. uuurrghgh
Hi Alan,
Earlier I purged the server caches for the two files that were being downloaded over and over for you, but it did not help, I could see in the log. That implies that there could be a problem with the disk that you are downloading to.
So the download is complete and the installer says that soundb2.obw is missing? To fix that, try “Verify/Download Again” in Details in PM.
Do you have another disk you could download to? That would maybe be best – pause the verifying/downloading, change location in Preferences and use the Move Downloads function.

@Olof Thanks for the reply!!
I just hit “Verify/Download Again” and now it says its wants another 40 minutes. Fingers crossed. Ill let you know as soon as
I could possibly try another drive if this fails
Thanks
Have just tried on a new drive @2 hours and still the same its looping.
This is a huge error can we find a solution asap please…..
I need to be able to rely on my software for work
Ive been at this all day and now night
Thank you
Are you sure the download is now on the new drive? The path is not automatically changed for existing downloads. Use “Show in Finder” in Details to see where it is.
soundb2.obw and soundb6.obw are looping now, while before it was soundb3.obw and soundb6.obw.
Something you can try is to pause the download, rename soundb2.obw to BAD_soundb2.obw and soundb6.obw to BAD_soundb6.obw, then resume, so that other parts of the disk will be used.
