I’m using ProTrig. If you use one Microphone, you can open two instances of ProTrig, and setup a frequency filter on each. SO you can use it like, bass drum for low sound caught on the mic, and high sounds cymbol
But I don’t want to use mics like this.
I was wondering, can I put two Piezo’s on a wire, and if I buy two different kinds, like the alarm buzzers, could I put a resistor on one to change it’s pitch? Does it make a sound or only a electronic pulse?
Thank you

Well if anyone cares, I’m only using one piezo. 100X improvement on the mics. I have an extra soundcard with 8 inputs so I’m not going to worry about this anymore. Piezo is sensitive, yet it’s pretty local depending how it’s setup, so there is not much “bleeding” ha! onto the other ones. If any at all.
Hi Shawn,
Sorry for being so late to post something in this thread.
A piezo can act as a microphone and actually, sticking a piezo inside an acoustic guitar is a known cheap way to get an electro-acoustic instrument.
Though, it would be difficult to get 2 different sounds from 2 piezos fixed on a same object. On the other hand, you can stick each of them on 2 very different objects producing different frequencies.
Anyway, a soundcard with 8 inputs is surely your best bet 😉
Best regards.
