Anyone have a clue as to why it wont update???

What are the chances that you manually dragged and dropped the ezdrummer DLL file to a different folder location than the one it was installed in?

    Bad Juju to do that.

I will check that. But the chances are very slim as I haven’t moved anything from the internal hard drive since I installed EZ Drummer.

    Hi,

Dave’s suggestion is very valid. In 99,99% of all situations where the updater won’t work, is because of user intervention post install.
You could always perform a Search for ‘ezdrummer.dll’ on your system and see how many entries show up and where it is/they are located.
If you have Toontrack solo installed, you can launch it to see if it loads EZdrummer and where it (and the updater) expects the dll file to reside.

    Best Regards,
    John

So I looked further and have found nothing even in the dmg location. When I try to re-download it comes up as a binary file

what comes up ‘as a binary file’, or rather can you explain what you mean, with screenshots if possible?
