I just bought a new PC because the old died. When I went to authorize EZDrummer2, it said I had too many computers authorized. I assume this means I need to deauthorize the old computer, but I have no means of turning it on to do so. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Hi,
you managed to fix it by yourself, it seems?

Since he Fixed his problem, Here is mine. I Uninstalled EZdrummer last year and wanted to put it back on the pc, But you guys seemed to
have updated everything since then with a new management tool. Everything is working fine, I even have it routed to my Cubase through my VST
options and have it pulled up to Authorizing my Key and Email. My Email, and Password log in Just Fine! I am having a problem getting my
Bought Key to even work. It says, Contact Support. Won’t let me do it offline either and this PC is Authorized as well.
we have same problem…tried reaching out to support but got no response. we have lost authorizations on all our products. kindly advise.

Can you provide more info? How were they lost? Are you out of authorizations? Can you authorize via the Toontrack Product Manager? You can remove old computers/authorizations and authorize another computer from the PM.

hi Scott,
Thank you for responding.
We sent complete explanation with support ticket. The reply from your server tethered an old ticket form years ago to our support request which was very strange ticket #(150165).
We have most of our software authorized to ilok which protects both manufacturer and purchaser. Other companies ie plugin alliance allow us remove authorization from computer that has failed without loosing number of authorization. We purchased many of our plugins directly form you and others from Sweetwater. This is very concerning considering how much we have invested in your products.
We have ported most of our software to a temp computer until we can replace the dead one and are not comfortable doing using remaining authorization of our toontrk plugins until we know that our costly investments are not in jeopardy.

I’m a forum moderator and don’t have access to Toontrack’s support system tickets so I don’t have access to the info you provided on the ticket.
I can only add that if you ever need removed authorization slots freed up, a quick post here or contacting Toontrack directly will make that happen. Your purchased products aren’t in any jeopardy.
You have 4 authorizations to use freely before you need to have any removed and I think I only see 1 or 2 used at the moment for any of your products.

Scott,
Thank you again for your thoughtful response. Perhaps I have not been clear. If we were to authorize our temporary computer until we arrange
to get a viable replacement for the broken one, would we be able to de-authorize the temp computer and authorize the new one without loosing any more authorizations?
Is there a way we, as the user, can de-authorize a computer before moving to a new system?
You have been very diligent with your responses to our queries, but we have had very little success with communication with Toontracks support system which is what heightened our concern in the first place.
Yes. You can de-authorize and authorize a new machine from the Detail-Authorizations in Product Manager for each product. After you’ve authorized your new machine, let me know and I can remove any inactive authorizations you have. See the details in the video below.
