Traps e400 series

I’m looking to purchase a set of Traps power pads (e400). I want to know how easy/hard it is to trigger Superior Drummer 2.0 using this set in Cubase 5.  Thanks.

Hi, I’d also be interested to know this, we’re always looking to expand the v-drum kit and the traps heads look like a good way to expand with meshheads, however as I understand all the pads are single zone? Apparently the pads feel nice to hit and the brain is pretty responsive, so aside from adjusting to your particular style they can be hit quite softly and still response to alot of nuances. The hi-hat control leaves something to be desired as I understand, however that is the part of an e-kit which is always a bone of contention even when you get to the big TD12’s/TD20’s

Well, I bought them and they should be here in the next two days.  I’ll have to see how it all pans out.  I’ve seen hybrid setups that just might have to do for now where cymbals (especially hi-hat) are miked.  Then…I could use the cymbal pads for extra drum triggers, ie. toms.

I had a A400 kit with Blue Hydraulic Evans heads for adding fatness to the acoustic sound,easy to mic and trigger from the old fashion way .
Zildjian K customs mic’d too
Excellent kit.
