already done :
extract 2 bars via tracker (superb !) in standalone mode, result :
MIDI 2 bars long, 4/4, @ 63, >> user MIDI, >> desktop
target project (Cubase) is @ 93
when I switch tempo to 2/3x , time sig and tempo at the bottom to 12/8 and @93, it sounds +/- identical to the original, is also two bars long, but obviously has a 12/8 notation now. That is exactly what I need.
how can I make these changes permanent and export as mid ?
when I export the “song” with these settings, it doesn’t respect the 12/8, so I get a 3 bar file …
yes, I have several ways to fix this in Cubase, but the best and most logical place to do this would be right here, imho.
any ideas ?
am I barking up the wrong tree ?
