SD3 keeps crashing in tracker,… I loaded a stereo drum track, trying to convert to midi but keeps crashing. Duplicated, starts out ok… did kick, snare… toms… then before I can get to hh or cymbols …it crashes… sometimes sooner than that. And it instantly crashes when I hit export as II tried to convert/export one drum at a time as well. This happens in stand-alone and in my host daw as vsti. (SD3-RME Fireface400, Samplitude Prox3)
Can you attach the crash dump file that the popup mentions so we can locate the bug?

The last crash and another… an hour previous. (I was able to save the project even with the crash window open….) It was a stereo drum track I was trying to convert to midi with Tracker.
I have exactly the same problem. But only if I select snare. I can load the audio file. Analyze kick, hh, toms, cymbals but selecting the snare and passing OK crashes the application
Hi there !
I have SD3 installed on my system using Cockos Reaper (up to date) as DAW.
SD 3 almost reacts as it should be, but I have on problem with the tracker:
In my current project I am using bunch of midi files (BD, Toms) and 1 wave audio track put into the tracker (snare).
From time to time the snare just drops out. To get it to play back again I would have to open the SD3 plugin,
click into the snare track (in the tracker) and then restart the whole playback. Seems as if the tracker is losing sync.
Midi still works fine !
Anyone with the same issue ? Any ideas, how to solve this ?
Thanks,
Micha

Are you using the latest version of SD3 (v 3.1.2)?

i’m using SD3 (v 3.1.2) and crash on everything (not cymbal detection) in standalone
maxlotti, from the crash log it seems you have nothing mapped to note 36.

Sorry but i don’t understand what does it mean ?
could you explain what i’ve to do?
if i’ve not mapped a sound on note 36 tracker crash?
Yes, it seems the tracker crashes if nothing is mapped to the notes that it generates, for example 36 = Kick.
Go to the Drums tab, select the kick, open the MIDI Mapping properties, enter 36 for the Open articulation. See attached screenshot.
Alternatively, load a Drums and Mixer preset, for example “Default” in the Superior Drummer 3 core library. That should reset the entire MIDI mapping to the default.
