Hello Toontrack fans, owners and employees, I love Superior Drummer, but I’m just not getting it to work on my upgraded system. Toontrack and Cubase Techs can’t seem to help either even though they try. I have upgraded to Cubase 8.5.2, windows 10 and an i7. I follow the automantic download directions on TT webpage and nothing. Cubase people says the some files should go into VST2 folders and TT says VST3 folders. The auto loader puts them into VST3 folders. I’m suppose to put a path somewhere in Cubase Preferences, but there is nowhere to put it. So the days and weeks just keep passing by. I wonder if there is a Tech. at Toontrack that knows how to fix this?
So, we’ll need some more info.
Does anything get installed anywhere? If so what gets installed where? I’d like to know the sound library path as well as the install location of any S2 plugin. If you don’t know any plugin install location, do a search in Windows for the superior drummer.dll
Check the install locations in the FAQ below.
