Hello,
I installed Superior Drummer and Toontrack Solo recently.I am triggering using a Roland TD-9 module. I am able to get SD to pull up in my Cubase DAW and play with no latency issues. When I pull up TT Solo however I am having very large latency. I am running a midi cable into a Focusrite 6i6 with latest drivers. I have adjusted buffers as low as possible on the Focusrite gui and TT Solo with no effect. I am running on a 64 bit CPU. I tried installing the 32 and 64 bit versions of TT Solo in vain too.
I feel like all my hardware must be ok since SD works fine in my DAW. Maybe TT Solo doesn’t play nice with Focusrite and SD does? Any ideas? I saw a post where a guy had a similar problem as me using a Focusrite box but it was not resolved.
Thanks
Hi,
which OS are you running? Could you please post a screen shot of your VST Paths, Audio Device and Buffer Size settings in Toontrack solo?

Hi,
Good news! I figured it out! When you go into TT Solo Options/Audio/Audio Device and choose your Device you also have to pick your Device Type at the top.
For some reason TT Solo defaulted to the terrible MME driver instead of ASIO. Once I picked ASIO it worked fine. Picture below.
I also copied what the manual describes on this topic. That was easily missed by me.
Thanks for you help anyway. 🙂
