Under “options” > “controller” > “flip setup” what does this function do? This is also undocumented. Please inform.

It flips the CC data for controllers working the opposite way but since you are a Superior 2 user, you shouldn’t use any of Toontrack solo’s Controller Options at all but only the built-in features of the plugin.

    Dear John,

thanks much for this super fast reply! To buy a serious software means also purchasing a competent support area. that’s here!

Do you have also comments for the other questions and improvement details for SOLO in this thread?

    Thank you

I haven’t seen support comment on feature suggestions before, so would not expect to see it here. Same with future releases, updates, etc.

Seems to be a Toontrack policy.

    OK, Thanks for this information.

But just my first question is very important for using SOLO in real-time mode. And this is not a feature request it’s still there in 1.32 version. Before the last update to SOLO there was a limitation to minimum 64 samples buffer size settings. So again to this: Is this limitation in the up to date version gone? It might be significantly to have a VST host without latency buffers for real-time using.

Any official comment from Toontrack to this would be very usefully.

Solo uses whatever buffer size your soundcard is set to. Like you say, the selected soundcard settings window opens from the latency setting option in Solo to set the buffer size.

OK thanks to @Scott for clearing the facts in this case. Nice to here that we can use SOLO since version 1.32 without any internal latency limitations as one simple and easy to go VST host for Superior Drummer and EZdrummer. Fine! You should in this case updating the SOLO manual that there no more questions to this point.

Hopefully the Toontrack team also thinking about the metronome settings with using SOLO as multi-out configuration as described above.

And of course the Toontrack team might reconsider the complete graphical user interfaces for the next Toontrack software generation. Controlling a DAW/real-time systems with compact multi touch-screens coming more and more! You will see. In this case a complete reorganizing graphical user interface shout be one “must have” improvement.

And of course a dream would be if there is one musical software company which can announce a small, fast and super stably Audio/Multimedia operation system optimized for real-time processes compatible to VST instruments without needing ASIO or AudioCore standards. But surely, this is just a dream. Regretfully!

    But what’s live without dreams?
