Toontrack sender is messing up my projects.

Toontrack sender is messing up my projects, working in Ableton it won’t startup anymore. When I remove the .vst file from the folder it will start up again.
And working in Nuendo its the weirdest thing, all my license from Kontakt to ilok will drop out and nothing work. If I remove audio sender, it is working again.

I have no clue why this is happening and if there is a fix.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the iLok base software has helped others with similar issues, even though Audio Sender really has nothing to do with iLok.

Ever since I’ve upgraded to Windows 11 the Toontrack Audio Sender no longer works, I have reinstalled everything, the DAW, all the Toontrack plugins I use, cleared the cache of my DAW and still the Audio Sender can not be found. Have tried version 1.1.0 and earlier version to no avail. Is there any word on a fix for Windows 11?

What DAW are you using and how are you trying to insert the Plug-In? We are still testing on Windows 11 but in the tests so far, Toontrack Audio Sender has worked as expected.

Hi Petter,

I am using the latest version of Reaper, I have never had issues with Toontrack plugins before and own various plugins. I’ve tried clearing the cache and re-reading all the VSTs I have but Reaper is unable to detect the Audio Sender plugin. Unfortunately I can’t seem to find a log that holds any of the errors that it could be throwing behind the scenes or I’d share. Reaper simply states that it is unable to read the Audio Tracker VST. Hope a patch or something comes out because it is a huge help to have the Audio Track Sender plugin working.

Hi Pbj94,

 

I just tested the Audio Sender VST now in Reaper on Windows 11 and it loaded and I was able to record into the audio tracker.

 

I noticed that Reaper automatically filters Plug-ins for Instruments or VSTi when I try adding Audio Sender via the FX button on an audio track after I have added EZbass to an instrument track. Do you see all of your Plug-ins in the list when you try to add a VST? Is the All Plugins filter selected in the filter box to the left?

 

You mention “…Reaper simply states that it is unable to read the Audio Tracker VST…” is that an error message that you are getting? If so, when are you getting that error message and is that the exact error message?

Hi Petter,

Here is what I mean when the Audio Sender VST is not being picked up (see attached photo). When I go to add a VST onto a track or a new track the Audio Sender VST can not be placed onto the track because the VST can’t be picked up. I have tried clearing the cache, reinstalling reaper, reinstalling all my Toontrack plugins but it will not register.
