So why isn’t there a hardware drum machine for live performance incorporating the Toontrack Drum line?
Can you imagine how well received an SR-16 style drum machine that allowed the owner to use the different drum kits and midi files in live performances!

One of the most popular drum machines ever made for stage use with the greatest acoustic drum sample libraries ever made?
The ability to control the great Toontrack midi collections on the fly switching between patterns with fills dependent on at what point you tap a foot switch?
The SR-16 is still being made for a reason…. with SS drives and modern processors this seems like it wouldn’t take too much effort to create!
Come on Toontrack… give the solo artists and duo’s a modern day acoustic drum machine…. or license it Alesis?
