Hi EZ drummers. I purchased a 6 midi pack since after i noticed with buying EZX Reggae it was far from complete, even with the EZ Reggae Midi pack added alas.
For now I got 5 serials left for additional MIDI packs to go. I wonder if someone has some advice on which to purchase. I am not in to Heavy metal, dance or electronic stuff, but mere into old fashioned country, folk, celtic, western swing, ethnic, maybe a little bit of old style jazz-bigband stuff or odd meter like 9/8 LoL.
Listening through a few i noticed a few i might like: AOR Grooves, Country Grooves, Pocket Grooves, Session Drums, Back Beat.
One big Q remains however, am i overseeing a good one? Thanks, F
Funny that your reaction to the Reggae Midi and EZX is identical to mine: woefully incomplete. I was very disappointed in both. The midi lacks even basic more common reggae grooves. I’m able to use it, but think it could’ve been a lot better. I do like having the reggae sounds though and put together a custom reggae kit I like.
I bought a 6 midi pack and haven’t delved into all of yet. I do like the Backbeats, Bues, and Ballads though. I added in American and Basic Rock 1 and 2; haven’t checked those out yet.
