I’m using Superior Drummer with a Roland V-Drum Kit. I love the drum sounds, but one thing I’m not sure how to accomplish is creating a tighter sound. I know SD is all about the room it was recorded in and recreating that, but I don’t want that. I want less room/reverb sound. I tried cutting down a couple mics but then I’d lose almost all of my cymbal sounds. Is there a better way to do what I’m asking?
Most of the cymbal sound is from the overhead mics. If you mute all room channels you should get a less roomy sound.
