I just wanted to mention a few reasons that made me decide on SuperiorDrummer over the competition – because it’s not always just about the power of the software.
1) That you have (and I got) an EZDrummer Lite voucher with my Korg MicroKey. This shaved the price of EZDrummer and made the crossgrade to SuperiorDrummer, ultimately, no penalty (total I paid with upgrading twice, is equal to SuperiorDrummer cost outright)
2) The way you list all my products and that I can always easily come back and get the serial number etc really makes me feel like I can trust the whole shopping process. Very important. The website design, with the cart/my products at the top makes me want to shop! It’s all about “confidence”, so well done.
3) That you sell a MIDI pack of odd time signatures (beats and fills)
Only someone who knows their drums/beats and works with people who really know their stuff, would do this. Small things, but this really sealed it for me. For my style, if there’s no odd time signatures, my composition is too boring 😉 That and the video where you change the mic 5 times to get the right sound, made me realize you guys are serious.
On the side, the Australian dollar (AUD) is now about equal to the USD. Which makes prices here, finally reasonable.
So instead of paying my local distributor RR of $469AUD for SuperiorDrummer.
I can get it from your website for $350AUD.
(This situation can get almost comical: Kontakt Komplete7 is $520AUD from the website but the RR from my Australian distributor is $800AUD)
