I thought Superior was top of the line, but the new EZ dummer looks pretty hot.
Maybe I was wrong and they are just two different things.
Can someone help explain it to me?
Is superior going to upgrade with features like Ez drummer or should I get Ez dummer?
Im sorry, I just have my own way of using products and get comfused.
Darin
Hi Darin,
EZdrummer is designed for Songwriters so that they can write songs and get great sound as fast as possible. Superior Drummer is designed for engineers who want unlimited sound shaping options…. So, it couldn’t hurt to own both.
If you have to choose one, go with whatever is more important to you: Songwriting options, or endless sound options.

I am more if a song writer.
Should have got ez drummer years ago. Thought superior was top of line..
I suppose I have to buy ez drummer then upgrade..
Seems I always take the long way..
Well… Between EZdrummer 1 and Superior Drummer 2 you made a great choice. Superior Drummer 2 can do everything that EZdurmmer 1 could and much more.

I assume that you are talking about grooves in the grooves page. The Superior Drummer grooves are NOT installed with the sound library or the software. They can only be installed from the separately downloaded file in your Toontrack.com account.
This file is titled N.Y. Studios Vol.1 MIDI Pack and it can be found in the updates section when you click MY account > My products > Superior Drummer.
Please download and install this file and then restart the computer.
