Hi all
noob here
just installed SD2.0 (and all updates, so I guess it’s really 2.3)
chose “e-drum” controller and after a few tweaks- so far so good.
but I really have to SLAM the pads to get decent volume. I read an earlier post that mentioned velocity control in the mapping window… but I can’t seem to get my head around it.
I’d rather not change the settings in my td12 module- it responds perfectly. I just want to change the way SD senses hits.
making changes to velocity control in mapping just seems to make soft hits the same as hard hits etc… is there an easy way to set it for the entire kit besides fine tuning each drum (trial and error)?
obviously I’m looking for that “sweet spot” where a soft hit is quiet and a hard hit is loud (like it is within the td12 module)
got it!
only some minor tweaks within td12 trigger settings did the trick.
sounds AMAZING! I’ve been playing for an hour
