I have looked for hours through this and Roland’s forum and haven’t found the answer (at least I don’t think I did)
I have a TD-6 brain and have already converted my acoustic kit into an electric with fabric heads. I’ve already put two piezo’s in my snare and had no problems using the snare channel to trigger it. I also split my toms into tom 2/aux and tom 3/4. I used a 2 mono to stereo plug for all of the above.
My problem is splitting the crash1 and ride. In a nutshell i want to use 2 pd-6’s isntead of one cy-6. I thought it would be easy since the cy-6 already uses two triggers but I can’t figure it out. I would think the cables designed by Keith Raper would be what I want but the TD-6 is listed nowhere in any of the forums or his site as compatible. can anybody help me
thanks
Hi,
Here is a quickly drawn diagram of something that may work.
Be aware that hitting both the pads at the same time will send a strong signal (use it at your own risk!).
This workaround may require some adjustments of your module settings as well.
Best regards.
