TD-30, VH-13 Hi Hats and Superior Drummer 2

I have searched and read many different posts on issues with the Roland Hi Hats in general using Superior Drummer. Some posts say they work OK and some say they do not work well at all? I have the Roland TD-30, VH-13 Hi Hats and want to know if there are compatibility issues with Superior Drummer 2? I don’t want to purchase SD2 if the VH-13’s won’t work well.
