TD 20 question

Hi all this is most prob a noob question ;(

I am a td 20 user i was hopeing another user might be able to talk me through geting my hi hat set up propperly useing superior ?

I have everything sounding great and love this program to bits apart from one thing…. I litterly have to apply my full body weight to the high hat pedal causeing the high hats to really squeeze together before hiting the high hats to get a closed sound and i cant figure out how to change it so its more like a reall set of high hats.

When just playing through the td20 on its own sounds i only have to close the high hats softly to get the closed sound.
