I recently came across a td-10 module with pd-120 mesh heads that I could not pass up and I have been trying to teach myself to play drums on this kit but needless to say I am overwhelmed by everything the kit can (and can’t) do. My question is:
HOW DO I SET UP THE FLOOR TOM TO TRIGGER RIMSHOTS???
Is this possible with the td-10 and pd-120 or am I out of luck? Any help would greatly appreciated and I apologize in advance if this is a complete noob question, I looked all over online and just couldn’t find any definitive information
Which Toontrack product and version are you using with the kit?

This is from the TD-10 manual
“Important: The rim function of the PD-120 ONLY works when connected to trigger input 2 (SNARE). If you desire rim sounds for the toms etc., please use a PD-7 or PD-9.”
I’m not sure if this was changed with the Roland TDW-1 expansion board for the TD-10 but it may be that you are out of luck.
