This is a very basic feature request. I need to switch a series of selected notes from one articulation in the Grid Editor to another. Dragging works poorly because you lose the sensitive timing position. Alternatively a button could be added to lock the timing of selected notes to their current position. That button would sit along side the existing button that locks timing to a quantized position (which we definitely do not want!).
P.S: I haven’t gotten the switch articulations feature for selected notes in the Tracker to work for some reason.
