I have 30 registered products with you all and have not had an issue until installing the Crossover version of superior drummer 2 (64 bit) with the Prod Man (of course). The issue is that in the Prod Man, it always shows Sup2 as downloaded but never installed or authorized, even though I can open it and use it as a plugin in Mixcraft. This is when logged in to my laptop as a standard user (not admin) which is how I always use it. It also doesn’t show up in the Control Panel as a program I can uninstall. However if I log in as an admin, the Prod Man shows it as installed and authorized and I can see the program in the list of programs I can uninstall in the Control Panel. I use all my products logged in as a standard user, even though I install many logged in as an admin. I did try uninstalling on the admin side of my laptop and reinstalling Sup2 but I get the same result. I can just ignore this and use it since it seems to work, but I don’t like it that something isn’t right for this one program. Any experience with this issue? Thanks a lot!
Hi,
could you please right-click the Product Manager icon and select Run as Admin when you are logged in as your standard user and see if it makes a difference?

John

Hi John – I did that and it shows it installed and ready to use. So after that I opened the Prod Man as I typically would as a “standard user” and it shows it downloaded but not installed. Just FYI, the Avatar Lib and Toontrack Solo that came with Sup2 did install normally. Thanks for helping. Doug
I bought this program and now I looking for a way to remove it from my system, does anyone know of any tricks to completely remove all hidden folders. This program, I can not up-date nor can I use it as a plug-in, what a waste of time and money. all my other programs run great not this piece of junk.

Hi John – are you still thinking about my question above? Note that I did answer your last suggestion. Thanks!
Hi,
I have forwarded this to a colleague (programmer), so we’re both waiting for what he finds out and suggests.

Hi Doug6String,
if uninstalling as admin and installing as normal user does not fix it, you can make Product Manager always run as administrator.
Right-click it, open properties, go to the Compatibility tab and tick that option.

John

Hi John – as I noted initially, I can use Sup D fine. This is one of those issues that bugs me, but doesn’t seem to affect things in any significant way. It’s one of many computer issues I’ve encountered over many years that will remain unanswered! I’ll mark this as answered, and thanks again for trying to solve this. Doug
