Hey Guys! I have been around for quite sometime with Toontrack products.
Started out many years ago with DFH, and tried it with my Roland. Never got it too work fine, the latency was giant.
What i used then was a midisport 1×1. I also remember i couldnt get all my pads to sound, and the dynamics was terrible. There was none! Same hit for each pad, haha. I used Battery back then if i remember correctly, so in otherwords it was very limited. I think it had to do with the midisport not having enough channels, but i’m not sure.
However i wonder now, what usb interface should i get to be able to use Superior (i’m going to upgrade to superior 2.0) without latency/less latency?? And have a nice dynamic range, say i hit the snare drum from low velocity to heavy punches, and so on. I mean does that even work with TD6-KW???
I hope it does!! How about the toms?? dynamic range there too?
