This may sound like a simple question but I am unable to use the space bar to start and stop my track while using Superior 3 in Logic X unless follow host is on. When enabling the keyboard shortcut option all other key commands seem to work great. Thank for the feedback!
Thanks for the feedback. We will take a look at this!

I have this problem as well, I’m also using Logic Pro X. When Follow Host is off, hitting the space bar starts playback in Logic, not SD3.
Would be really nice to have this fixed, it would be a great workflow improvement for me.
We have added this and it will be included in the next update – which is currently being beta tested!

A heads up – to start Superior only, in a DAW, Shift + Space will be used. Space is dedicated to start the DAW…

Sounds good. Just space bar would be awesome, but shift+space is definitely better than having to click with the mouse, which is what I’m doing now.
I can’t move the songcursor by clicking in the timeline (like in my DAW Logic) is that normal ??
Hi mART_8,
where exactly are you clicking?
If you click in the space between MIDI Blocks and the Bar numbers, you should be able to move the playhead cursor.

I agree. It’s quite annoying that when working in the SD3, when you hit space bar, it plays Logic. Also when trying to use search fields or when trying to type when saving in SD3, it keeps making logic use short cut commands. I literally cant type anything into SD3. Ugh
Hi Brandon 10,
Logic steals your keyboard input. It does for all plug-ins, not just SD3. However, if you have the plug-in window open and the area you wish to enter text into focused, it should work.
E.g. if I want to start the SD3 Song Track only with Shift+Space, I first click somewhere in the Track tab/area. After that I can click anywhere in the SD3 plug-in GUI and still make use of keyboard shortcuts. Not all are passed on to the plug-in, focused or not. But the rule of thumb is, click where you want the key stroke to be passed in to first.

John
