Hi quick question.
We have ezdrummer and superior drummer… Is there any chance of an ezmix big brother for example superior mix?
I’m interested in the ezmix product but if I’m honest I prefer to not just rely on presets but be able to tweak. I find presets a great way to get into the general area and as a way to learn how to get a certain sound but then to modify to taste.
Don’t worry I’m not wanting to turn this into a dumbing down of engineering debate just think it sounds like there are some nice fx in ezmix and it would be great if there was a more in depth version for those who want the extra tweakability?
I’m probably gonna go for ezmix now even without the extra depth as it seems like good value and hope for an upgrade path later like from ezdrummer to superior.

Hi,
since we just released EZmix, there’s probably not gonna be a Superior Mix (or whatever it would be called) for some time.
Personally, I use EZmix mainly as a source of inspiration. If I don’t know what I’m gonna do with a track or feel that I´m stuck with the mix I tend to throw on a couple of EZmix’s and start playing with delays and distorsion etc. I also use it a lot on bass guitar, mainly cause I’ve never really mastered the techique of mixing bass . It’s a good starting point, and if I wanna tweak the sound further I just insert another EQ or whatever.
