Greetings,
Does anyone know a trick to keep the snare rolls consistent? I’m trying to lay in continual snare pattern of quarter, quarter, half (snare roll). The first two rolls are loud and the third has a bit a crescendo effect then loud again for two…I want them to be consistent either way.
Thanks for your suggestions.
Richard
Have you tried on the right of your SD2 GUI selecting the Snare and then Snare Roll Articulation (or just the Whole Snare) and then turning off Random,Alternative.?
An old post but I thought I’d revive it. I’m having the same problem. Unfortunately, deselecting random and alt doesn’t solve the problem. I’m using superior 2.3.0 and Custom and Vintage sdx
Any reason you can’t just program the rolls in by hand using velocity edits?
There is no “1 size fits all” solution, if the sound isn’t working for you, it’s normally down to the programming and the layer limits…

Thanks for your reply. I was on such a tight deadline, I didn’t have time to program them….
What I’ve found is that some snares in C&V roll at constant level for low velocity hits and then crescendo roll at higher level hits. Would be nice if they could all be the same, at least within one library.
